The best intentions

Did you ever have a project...with a plan...and the best intentions...
of what you would do...and how it all would turn out...

And then it starts...one thing goes astray...which leads to another mishap...and still another detour...

Such is the story of changing up the master bedroom at home...and the reason why I've been mum all week...
what I thought would be a quick re-do/refresh...has turned into a larger ordeal...and sapped most of my free time this week...

But I'm optimistic that all will turn out right...I'll keep you posted...

  1. I've had this happen too many times to think about! And I LOVE the use of the domino effect in the photos! Hope whatever has been happening is working out!

  3. Oh, time robbers, so disarming when a job should take x amount of time and ends up taking xxxxxxx amount. Hope no legs or arms got broken. Surely you will get your project done and be up and creating again soon. Amazing photos. Thanks for sharing. Smiles :-)

  8. Dominos are the perfect analogy. "I'd like new drawer pulls, let's get a nice pewter color." "Ok, but we'd better replace those old brass door knobs." "Well, we'll have to change the door hinges too." "If we're taking the doors off, I'd just as soon paint them." "Well, if we're going to paint the doors, the walls will look pretty crummy if we don't paint them first." Yes, been there too many times!
Good luck Amy, I'm anxious to see the reveal.
